Product Description
A non-bleeding, anti-corrosive primer that provides an excellent barrier on underwater metal surfaces, reducing galvanic corrosion. Use on underwater metal areas including aluminum outdrives and outboards, stainless steel, bronze props and shafts prior to application of Trilux® Prop & Drive, Trilux 33 Aerosol or Trilux 33. Use at least one full can of primer per lower unit.

Preparation
FACTORY PAINTED SURFACES: Sand with 80 grade (grit) paper. Remove sanding residue.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES: Sand with 80 grade (grit) paper. Remove sanding residue.
BARE ALUMINUM
Method: Shake can well, listening for mixing ball. Continue shaking for at least 1 minute. Hold can 12-16 inches from the unit when applying the paint. Between coats turn can upside and spray until the spray is clear to clean the nozzle.
Hints: Other Use an entire can of Primocon Aerosol per lower until.
Some Important Points: Do not use above the waterline. Product temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F and maximum 29°C/85°F.
Compatibility/Substrates: Primocon Aerosol should be applied to freshly sandblasted metal, metal that has been etched with Viny-Lux® Primewash 353/354 or previously painted surfaces. Do not use under vinyl based antifouling paints such as VC Offshore, Baltoplate or TBT based antifoulings such as Micron 33.
Number of Coats: 3-4 coats as needed - Use as an entire can of Primocon Aerosol per lower unit.
Recommended WFT per coat: No imperial value exists for TypicalThickness.WFTSpray mils wet
